Sign The Petition
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) is demanding that three senior chaplains (including the two-star Air Force Chief of Chaplains) be investigated and punished for praying in uniform at a Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty event held on July 12, 2016.
These kinds of attacks on religious freedom in the military have become commonplace and must be stopped! Take immediate action by signing the national “Stop and Protect” petition. Make your voice heard to defend and maintain the religious liberty, as well as the freedom of expression and conscience, that the Constitution guarantees our chaplains and the armed forces personnel they serve.
When the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Freedom reaches our 10,000-signature goal, your petition will be hand-delivered to the offices of key leaders on Capitol Hill, including Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter, Sen. John McCain, Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and Rep. Mac Thornberry, Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee.
Add your name to this national petition and help protect the religious liberty of the servicemen and servicewomen who bravely and selflessly protect ours. The “Stop and Protect” petition states:
As a deeply concerned citizen, I am calling on leaders in Washington, D.C. to stop these unprecedented attacks on military members exercising their freedom of religion and expression. Our servicemen and servicewomen put themselves in harm’s way to protect our freedom and God-given constitutional rights. It’s time for you to protect theirs!
By supporting the Chaplain Alliance, you enable us to secure the religious liberties of our chaplains and those they serve.
The Chaplain Alliance and Alliance Defending Freedom present a special Military Edition of Doing the Right Thing. DVD's are available for a donation of $15. To request your copy of this dynamic exploration of ethics email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
